JAM Notification 2016: JAM is the Joint Admission Test conducted by both Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISC) and Indian Intsitutes of Technology (IIT's) for the admission to Integrated Ph.D Degree Programmes at IISc Bangalore and M.Sc (2 Years), as M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D.Dual Degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/Ph.D. Dual Degree and other Post-Bachelor degree programmes at IITs (Bhubaneswar(IITBBS), Bombay(IITB), Delhi(IITD), Gandhinagar(IITGN), Guwahati(IITG), Hyderabad(IITH), Indore(IITI), Jodhpur(IITJ), Kanpur(IITK), Kharagpur(IITKgp), Madras(IITM), Patna(IITP), Roorkee (IITR) and Ropar (IITRPR)) for the academic session 2016-17.
It is expected that the research infrastructure, the inter-disciplinary interaction and the vibrant academic environment of IISc Bangalore and IITs will motivate these students to pursue Research & Developement careers in the frontier areas of basic sciences as well as inter-disciplinary areas of science and technology. JAM 2016 exam will be conducted in various IIT's across India. JAM 2016 is open for all the nationals.
Eligibility:
1. Atleast 55% aggregate marks in all years combined without rounding off for General/OBC.
2. Atleast 50% aggregate marks in all years combined without rounding off for SC/ST/PWD.
Fee Particulars: Candidates need to pay the application fee either online or e-challan. In case, a candidate chooses to pay through e-challan, then the payment should be made in cash at any branch of the bank mentioned in the e-challan
SC/ST/PWD/Female: Rs.750 for One Test Paper and Rs.1050 for Two Test Papers
Others: Rs.1500 for One Test Paper and Rs.2100 for Two Test Papers

Mode Of Examination: Examination will be conducted in Online mode only in various centres across India. Candidate can appear in either one test paper or test paper by paying additional fee
