1. Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research projects.
2. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 3-5 years prior to landing on a product roadmap.

Skills Required: Candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science and/or Engineering with research experience in one or more following application domains like Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Massive data computing, Multimodal real-time physical simulation, Behavioral simulation, Interventional medical imaging, Numeric Computing in Parallel programming, multicore and/or manycore architectures. Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in parallel programming.
