TNPSC Recruitment 2016: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) recruits direct recruitment for 8 General Foreman & Technical Assistant Post. Pay Scale: Rs.9,300/- - Rs.34,800/- Per Month + Grade Pay Rs.5,100/-

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., Written Examination and Oral Test in the form of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.

Paper-I: 200 Questions - 300 Marks (3 Hours)
Subject Paper in U.G Degree Standard:
    Mechanical and Production Engineering: 100 Questions
    Automobile Engineering: 100 Questions

Paper-II: General Studies - 100 Questions - 200 Marks (2 Hours)

Interview and Record: 70 Marks

Qualifying Marks:
SC, ST, BC: 171 Marks
Others: 228 Marks

Exam Duration: 5 Hours (2 Sessions)
